The italian charity organisation «Karibuni Onlus» offers a costless dental service in Utende, Mafia Island. The therapist can perform extractions, composite fillings of front- and posterior teeth, amalgum fillings of molars and endodontic treatment. Additionally every Friday he visits the remote village “Kilongwe” in the north of Mafia Island by motorcycle. In a simple treatment room extractions and temporary fillings can be made.

SDI supports the therapist with courses to improve conservative and endodontic treatment skills and executes repairs and replacement of equipment as well as delivery of consumables in collaboration with «Karibuni Onlus».
